Q: What is a fanzine?
A: A fanzine is a fan-made magazine! This zine will be DIGITAL, meaning there will be no physical printed version.

Q: What is a Custom MC?
A: MC stands for Main Character. A Custom MC is a character made and altered to take the place of the MC!

Q: What is Alternative Media?
A: Alternative media is anything other than art and writing! Cosplay, original music, voice acting, and any other skill is welcome and encouraged to contribute to this zine.

Q: What charity will profits go towards?
A : Based on the results of the interest form, the charities we have chosen are Astraea Lesbian Foundation for Justice

About

No Strings Detached is a non-profit digital fanzine for Cheritz's Mystic Messenger!

The focus of this fanzine will be contributor's Custom MC's and their relationships with the canon Mystic Messenger cast. It is a SFW zine that hopes to have artists and writers contribute both individually and collaboratively to create a fun and interactive fanzine.

The title, No Strings Detached, is in reference to the Red Thread of Fate, an Eastern mythology in which soulmates are always connected by an invisible red thread. But what about our soulmates from a different world?

Hi, I'm Tal! I'm currently 21 years old and go by she/her pronouns. I've contributed as an artist in many, many fanzines, but this is the first time I'll be hosting one!

Aside from participating as a artist in zines, I have moderation experience from application-based roleplay campaigns (see Despot Despair ). I enjoy working on ambitious projects, and hope that this project will run smoothly!

Hello, I’m Sel (she/her)! I’m currently the head moderator of “I Am The Mastermind!”, a Danganronpa Fanzine.

Additionally, I’ve modded and participated as an artist in a handful of other digital collaborative projects as well, such as “This Is (Not) and Irouma Fanzine”. I’ve been fond of Mystic Messenger for a while now, and I’m super excited for the concept of this zine!

Howdy, I'm Lovely! I'm 24 years old and I use she/her pronouns. I've never modded (or even participated in!) a zine before, but I'm a long time fanfic writer with a degree in Creative Writing, so I promise you're in good hands.

I've worked with Tal before in a number of different projects, so I feel quite comfortable working with her and know that with her guidance this project will go smoothly! Aside from pretty visual novel boys, my interests include writing reader inserts. I look forward to working with everyone!
